No shows are a fact of life. Your day is booked, you leave for the office and invariably someone does not show up. It’s usually the new client. You wonder if they are lost, forgot or received a better offer? It doesn’t matter, the outcome is still the same, revenue lost:( I personally schedule new clients or ones that are habitual no-shows for the last appointment of the day. If they are lost and/or late, it doesn’t throw the rest of my day off. So if it’s a no-show, after 15 minutes I go home instead of loosing a whole hour or more. For early appointments, I tell them I will call them to confirm that morning before I leave for the office. Not my first choice. Let me know if this helped you. If you do something different that works even better, please let us know by sharing your ideas, so we can help others.
